Mosaic Labs is an independent Texas software studio. We design and build social software for adults — built privately, held to a high bar, and shaped by the people who use it rather than the markets that would prefer to define them.
We’re privately held. No venture capital, no outside board, no pressure to grow past what the work calls for. That independence lets us make decisions on behalf of the people who trust us with their time, their identities, and their data — not on behalf of a pitch deck.
We’re small on purpose, and we intend to stay that way.

Privacy is a design discipline
It is not a compliance checkbox or a trust-and-safety afterthought. The way a product treats its users’ data, identities, and presence is part of the product itself. We design from that premise.
Independence changes what you can build
A studio answerable only to the people who use what it makes can choose patience over hype, craft over metrics, and the right users over the biggest market. That’s the whole reason to be privately held.
Software can be made with care
Most software is shipped to meet a quarterly plan. We don’t think that has to be the default. We make things the way we’d want them made for us.

Scope
One product at a time, built deeply. When we pick something, it gets our full attention until it is worthy of release.

We move at the pace the work asks for. No launch calendar set by marketing, no public beta theater, no shipping what isn’t ready.
Voice
We talk to people like adults. No cute copy, no hype language, no manufactured urgency. Emails get emails back.
